Condition Monitoring of Cyclone Gearboxes

Planetary gearboxes
Compared to cycloidal gearboxes, planetary gearboxes are lighter and more compact, but they lack the precision and durability of the former. They are better suited for applications with high torque or speed requirements. For this reason, they are usually used in robotics applications.
